Cultural Council
The Ashfield Cultural Council is a member of the Mass Cultural Council's Local Cultural Council (LCC) program serving all communities in the Commonwealth. The LCC Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities every year. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.
Individuals, schools and cultural organizations are eligible to apply for project support from the Ashfield council. Funding for cultural field trips may also be available. Applicants should contact their Ashfield Council for information and how & when to apply

The Ashfield Cultural Council meets as needed. All meetings and associated agenda are posted 72 hours prior to holding the meeting.
