Due to continuing and increasing concerns regarding COVID-19 the Ashfield Police Department has suspended in-person License-to-Carry (LTC/FID) appointments.   

Applications received prior to the expiration date on the permit are considered valid until the new permit is received.

Permit applications can be dropped off in the outside Town Hall mailbox or mailed to Ashfield Police Department, Attn:  Chief, PO Box 355, Ashfield, MA 01330.

The fee for a permit is $100.00 (check only) for anyone who is under the age of 70 (if you are turning 70 on your expiration date, there will be no charge).

I will give you a call in the near future to schedule photographs and if needed fingerprints.
