IV. Initial Action Items:
1. Vote whether to affirm the names “Mohawk Trail Regional School District” and “Mohawk Trail Regional School”
2. Vote whether to remove and replace the existing mural/image of a Native American in the Mohawk Trail Regional School (MTRS) gymnasium
3. Vote whether to complete the process of removing all other Native American images used in connection with the MTRS as soon as it is possible or practical
4. Vote whether to end the use of the name “Warriors” in connection with the MTRS
5. Vote whether to strongly encourage District administrators to review curriculum standards, and where necessary, develop and implement additional curricula that integrate the history and contributions of Indigenous people (from pre-colonial times to the present) thoroughly and systematically into student learning at all District schools
