The Town of Ashfield (pop. 1737) is accepting applications for the position of Town Clerk.

Town Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration of town legislative actions including administration of elections, town meetings, and ethics requirements, supervision/maintenance of municipal and vital records and other public information, issuance of licenses and certificates, voter registration and census activities, and regular departmental operations including supervision of staff. Applicants should possess an associates’ degree, or a combination of professional business and managerial experience, with previous experience as a Town Clerk or Assistant Town Clerk preferred. 30 hours/week, benefitted position; salary range $28,000 – $31,600.
