Town News

SB to Discuss Town Internet Service

At the Select Board meeting on Monday, August 25th at 7 p.m. the board will be discussing Hilltown Network's (Chris Gray) proposal to provide wireless broadband internet service to Ashfield using the town hall steeple.  The Select Board may make a decision on Monday about the pending agreement with Hilltown Networks or they may choose to place an article on the warrant for the September 22nd Special Town Meeting and let the town decide.

Ashfield Town Hall Bicentennial

There will be a Bicentennial Celebration of the Ashfield Town Hall on Saturday, August 2nd starting at 1PM.

Housing Rehabilitation Grants

The Franklin County Regional Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is applying for a Community Development Block Grant.

Income eligible homeowners may qualify to bring their homes into code compliance.
